Jay Lewis is a 1971 graduate of SIUC with a degree in history, and a 1986 graduate of SIUC with a master's degree in educational administration. He has seven years of academic advising experience; four years in COLA.

In addition to advising all majors in the main advisement office, Mr. Lewis also advises Speech Communication and Theater majors at 2249 Communications.
