INTERNSHIP IN POLITICAL SCIENCE
POLS 395 (1-12 hours): Internship in Public Affairs. Internships are available to political science majors and minors who are in good academic standing and have completed at least two Political Science courses. In addition, the Department facilitates specific internship programs that become available on a periodic basis. Such programs include the Illinois Staff Legislative Internship and most recently, the Interest Group Internship, which was new in Spring 2000 and continues to be developed. Only 6 hours credit may be counted toward the major; six additional hours may be applied toward general graduation requirements as elective.
