INTERNSHIPS IN HISTORY
HIST 496 (1-9 hours) - Internship in History. Supervised field work in public or private agencies or operations where history majors are frequently employed, such as archives and libraries, government offices, communications media, historic sites, historical and preservation societies, and museums. Three hours credit in the major; six additional hours may be applied toward degree requirements as elective. Prerequisite: consent of department.
