Howard M. Spiegel (left in the image with Associate Dean Don Rice) completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice in 1975, graduating with University Honors. While at SIUC, he was a new student week leader, vice-president of Pierce Hall, Vice President of Thompson Point and a member of the University Honors Program. He currently serves on the SIU Chicagoland Advisory Board.

Mr. Spiegel has worked in the electronic distribution industry for the past 26 years and currently works for Arrow Electronics as an Account Manager in the Chicago marketplace.

He is a member of the select Arrow Pacesetter Team, an award given to less than 1 percent of all Arrow employees worldwide. Arrow Electronics sales for the year 2000 were $14 billion and Arrow is the worldwide leader in electronic distribution. In his spare time, Mr. Spiegel is a beer vendor at Wrigley Field were he has worked for more than 30 years!

He is married and lives in Buffalo Grove with his wife and three children.
