University Museum exhibit setup

(from the Saluki Times) Nate Steinbrink, left, curator of exhibits at the University Museum, and Brett Allen, a graduate student in the School of Art, prepare to display the upcoming Iron: 2010, a traveling exhibit from the Metal Museum of Tennessee and featuring work from SIU Carbondale artists. Here, the two set up an L. Brent Kington sculpture. Kington, SIU Carbondale professor emeritus and blacksmithing legend, was essential to establishing the nationally recognized blacksmithing program at SIU Carbondale. The exhibit runs Jan. 20 through March 9. (Photo by Andrea Hahn)
